However,

MathML fonts

Could you give an installation instruction for the MathML fonts for Mozilla? I remember, once I installed the MathML fonts my Firefox still couldn't display math formulae properly. Is there sth. else I have to install? -- nmueller

I need to try it myself once more; after that, I'll provide instructionson the installation page. First of all, here are the instructions given by Mozilla. If you do not install that additional font, you will still be able to view most of the mathematical formulae, though. Only some special characters will not work. --Clange 20:27, 26 May 2007 (CEST)
OK, I installed these fonts and restarted Firefox (2.0 on Mac OS X), and I still got that warning :-/ --Clange 20:31, 26 May 2007 (CEST)
I had installed MathML fonts with Linux, but the warning keep displaying in Firefox. Nevertheless, I don't know if this really means the fonts are not installed, as I don't see problems in MathML formula. I read somewhere there is a way to stop the warning but I've never tried. Normally, we will not need to manually install fonts in future version, as the STIX project is working on free fonts that could directly be integrated in Firefox. Fred
OK, thanks for that info :-) Clange 14:39, 27 May 2007 (CEST)

I found how to avoid the problem of pop-up when you go with a page with MathML formulae (see SWiM/installation)
